Very Helpful & Exciting Developer!
• ikes is deceptively simple and quietly very powerful for quickly recording those elusive creative thoughts we all have.
• TWO TAPS and you are done!!
The Dev asks for TWO TAPS in total to save your own concept/idea!!
Inputting YOUR OWN content will require the extra typing; or saving someone else’s idea will require a few more “developer-required” taps.
• That is excellent UI!
• I can quickly create and save my own ideas without being bogged down by categorizing and breaking my flow of thought.
• Plus I can easily save inspiration from many other apps and sources.
• Tags are very useful AND can be added later so you can keep your creative flow uninterrupted.
• The Dev seems to be ensuring the stable foundational functionality of ikes.
• He has listed all the great features he is already planning to add—colors, tweaked searches, etc.
• ikes is DEFINITELY worth downloading and using NOW as it is sure to become very popular.

Perfect
Ikes allows you to take notes fast and retrieve those notes even faster. I take random notes not knowing if I will need it later and Ikes is a perfect solution. Note: I avoid large tech companies where possible and the freeware they produce. I want to support companies starting out.
Short notes
Perfect for short notes when you don’t want to save the whole article or an excerpt of it is much more important to the rest. Has many use cases.
I’d forgotten about this app for a time being, and came back to an app that had advanced over time. Now has the new feature to create an image from a quote or any block of text.
This is the Goodlinks of text excerpts and quotes you’d like to safe keep from the browser or really an app. Definitely in my keep pile.
It’s still useful in ‘freemium’ mode, but I definitely eventually will upgrade to premium.
