IKUE is a proud Unsung Heroes semifinalist

A fun and challenging tile-puzzle for those who like having a little mind bender in their daily game routine. Ikue is a real brainteaser and challenges your perception in a new way.

The puzzles are not unlike the classic Tangram but the forms are unique and are based on a design by industrial designer Kristjan Saetran Bjarnason who designed the puzzle as a board game challenge. The design of the game is calming and beautiful and has gotten universal praise.

IKUE is the ideal pick up and play game and can be enjoyed at the doctors office, on the bus or in the sofa at home.

The game free and includes story mode with 50 levels as well as a starter pack with additional 50 levels. Those thirsty for more can access 4 additional level packs of different challenge levels with 100 levels each for a total of 500 levels.

* 50 Story Levels
* 50 Starter pack levels
* 400 additional levels of varying difficulty
* 10 Unique tile types
* Mind bending puzzles and shapes
* Calming music

Tilebreakers are limited but never needed.

"Simple to learn yet tricky to master is the mantra for the best puzzle games out there, and Ikue certainly lives up to that." - (4/5 Stars) 148Apps

This has become one of my favorite puzzle games, the designs are simply fascinating as is the storyline. I also like the font used. The tutorial is quick and informative and I love the classical music that plays in the background, I find it calming and stimulating but you can turn it off if you don't like it. The touch controls are responsive but quite sensitive too.

Brilliant game

The introductory background story already attracts me a lot. When playing I feel it different from other so-called puzzles, because it really took some tricks to fit all the pieces into the grids, with just mirroring and rotating but no breaking into small pieces (though allowed). And when I finished each level I feel a sense of achievement. That's what I call a puzzle.

Nice design w a few minor problems

Elegant design. Just two issues keep this game from earning 5 stars:

- My music stops when I start the game. The good part: the game's own music is muted when first installed. I wish more games did this.

- The drag controls during gameplay are two twitchy, causing me to frequently drop pieces.
