Not recognizing drive: M2 Ventura
I could not even start. It would launch with a window in which I could only endlessly open folders. Never gave the option to scan.
If I cancelled it would go to a windaw meant to allow me to choos a drive, I was always empty.
Does this app not work on internal drive?
I defintely cant recommend this app.

Extortionware
Can't review the functionality of the software because it finds the file, but if you want to actually do anything with it, you have to pay $50. Recovered data on my own with testdisk on linux.

I took a long time to get it to work - too late
I downloaded it about 2 weeks ago but first to open it it asked to load a .dmg file. I emailed their support team and they said that due to an Apple licensing agreement you had to open another .zip file first. So they sent me the file and the .zip said “data recovery” - but opened up as “photo recovery”. I was sent a second .zip and the same. Then I was sent another file - it finally opened correctly to data recovery but it kept freezing after scanning about 16gb of memory. Finally - FINALLY - I was sent one that opens and works correctly. However, those files that I needed have already been redone.
