Love this

This game is one of the most fun games I’ve played. I downloaded it on a whim and now I can’t stop playing. I love the different names that each level has, Germany’s No. 5, My Dad’s Boss, My Neighbor, they’re all so comedic. The background music is great, it’s nice but it doesn’t distract at all.

In terms of graphics, I think this game nailed it. I love how the ball was rendered as a line, it makes it so unique but it makes a lot of sense. The controls are great and simple. Each level gets slightly harder and by the time you’ve hit even level 30, you realize that your reaction time has certainly gotten faster.

Mini games! These “tests” are awesome. Not only are they frustratingly difficult, they make you want to try again and again, at least they do for me. I love the bright colors and the minimalist design of this game. The tests are unique and very fun. I have a suggestion, I really like how each level, the opponent has a different pose. I think it’d be really cool if, as you get farther along, you unlock poses too so you also get to pose before playing. It’s a very simple way to customize your character without taking away from the minimalist aspect. Just a thought :) Lovely game, definitely in my recommended list!

I enjoyed it but there isn’t enough

I really enjoyed the game the simplistic gameplay was really enjoyable and the game wasn’t at any point frustrating for me to play and I liked some of the jokes like having to play against trump I found funny and the controls were responsive but I have some problems like for example after beating the game if you try and go back to challenge someone you alway get forced to play the boss of that cup instead of choosing who to play against first another problem I’ve had is that in about one afternoon the entire game can be beaten and after that there isn’t anything to stick around for if possible I hope that in the future an endless mode can be added or a multiplayer mode where you get matched up to play against random people to keep players who beat the game interested but that’s all I wanted to say I really enjoyed it and hope it continues to get support from the team thank you

Not as good as stars imply

The star ratings are a bit misleading, because the developers have an os popup that says “Rate us 5 stars” in bold with the alternative being a non-bolded No. So with it being an os alert it’s instinctive to just go ahead and hit the bold text rather than the no. There’s no alternative to simply rate the game with what you think it deserves. You have to go to the app store specifically to do that. The alert pops up now and then and if you think the game is okay it’s easy to give 5 stars just to make it go away. I’m sure a lot of apps do this, but it does lead to unrealistic ratings.
As for the game itself, it is fun but also annoying. Because you need to use ping pong timing, which is great, but at the same time you’re engaging that part of your brain, you also have to repress the urge to tap the button for the direction you want to HIT the ball, as you would do in a real game, and instead tap the button for the square in which the incoming ball is LANDING. These are frequently opposite, ie, the ball is landing in the square on the right, but you want to hit it back to the left, so if you don’t successfully repress that urge quickly enough, you lose that point. This cognitive dissonance is really the only thing that makes the game challenging. That being said, it is still a fun game.
