Ratings and Reviews
Not a good choice for what I need or maybe you too
This tool seems limited to manually changing the text of the EXIF data. That is possibly useful, but what I needed (and I suspect is commonly needed) is to be able to do changes computationally. In particular, shifting the image-creation date by some fixed amount of time doesn't seem to be possible. I didn't pursue further the possible other capabilities because that time-shift was the only thing I was interested in. PhotoMill works well for that.
Was Doing Great
I was frustrated with other software to write EXIF. Finding this allowed me to work like I wanted. Didn’t want to always export pics from Photos to get tags. This worked well for about 60 pictures, and then the last 20 that I hand typed in all the tags for, for some reason didn’t get saved even though I got the green check.
I downloaded this app to correct GPS and Date information on photos from a camera with incorrect settings. I imported a folder of images into the app and went to sort by photo date and, err.. I can't sort the photos, which means I cannot range select the photos I want to edit by date or image name, which means I have to range import photos into the app instead. Okay, so how do I clear the list and import a working set of photos? Oh, I can't, I have to restart the app. Huh.
Next, I imported 3 photo that were taken on the same day, added GPS coordinates and pushed save. A little warning icon showed up on one of the photos. I clicked that photo and it's preview wasn't present under the summary tab. I went to the filesystem through finder and tried to find the photo. It was gone. This app ate my picture on the first attempt to save.
BEWARE AND AVOID THIS APP. I will be asking for my money back.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
