I’ve had this app for years and have used it for various things. I thing it is the best app for time lapses. The only issue is, about 100 pictures in multiple frames are blacked out. And by multiple I mean the majority. This is not an issue I’ve experienced in the past and I can only imagine it is a bug. If this issue were not there I would give it a 5 star review. I want to go to the paid version, but I’m afraid this issue will persist there as well and it would be a waste of money.
This app is great for beginner stop motion animators. You can take lots of photos for the videos you make and there are other helpful tools to try out like a grid and there’s a feature that allows you to use your phone flashlight as well. I like to use this app for taking the pictures and then edit them more in iMovie to add music and transitions. This app is free and easy to use. You can also look at the gallery on there and see what other creators who use the app have made and take inspiration from that. You can see pay money for extra tool options they have.
This app is better than any other stop motion app👍
So I try this app and it’s called imotion so I download it and I click new movie
I chose manual and there I was starting to make the brick film and then I go to tools and guess what... there was a flash light so that means I can have lighting but it’s not that good because it shines on everything but its still good you can also use the onion skin tool so you can see where you put your mini figure at. Screw stop motion studio I’m going to use imotion the best stop motion app in the world👍👍👍👍👍
