***Best Mobile Game - Indie Cup Awards***
***Unusual engine category winner - GameGathering Conference***

A guy fell asleep at the table, playing his favorite war strategy game on a smartphone. He dreams of an unusual dream that he gets just in the heart of td battles with orcs. The local empire warriors greet him, telling him that it would be nice if such a mage helped them in the castle siege. And now you can't tell the difference between the dream and reality...

The hero must take part in battles and tournaments, complete quests, mine resources, collect, improve, and play cards, and train alongside the warriors under his command. All to help to protect this amazing fantasy world

Apart from challenges on the levels, we created a unique map of the world that is interesting to explore, and through which you should play individually (time management):

•explore the world
•collect resources every day
•open chests
•play particular levels on schedule
•participate in survival arenas
•complete quests
•collect and improve cards

Challenge is good

This is a tower defense game very much like Kingdom Rush with gacha elements and a different (but enjoyable) sense of humor. The difficulty that some other reviewers complain about is just a reaction to the lousy “meta” for mobile games in general. You know what I mean: the pushover first couple days with tons of gifted energy to keep you busy clicking on stuff that isn’t gameplay.

This game is better than that. You actually have to move your units around and make decisions that effect your win conditions. The only paywall is for those who want to treat it like an idle title where your units are so overpowered the game plays itself. The energy system runs out pretty quickly, but that feels ok, too. Playing games is fun, but taking regular breaks is a good thing, too.

Thank you studio and developers for making a highly enjoyable game. It feels a little sad that I’m singing the praises of a game just because there is actual gameplay. Regardless of that unfortunate reality, this one is a keeper.

A Tower Defense game clearly made by someone who is a fan of the genre

So many utter crap TD games clones on the App Store I always wish there was some keyword to find the rare gems. This is definitely one of them. It might not seem that way for the first I dunno... six or seven levels? But push through and you’ll discover “wow, the developer clearly put a lot of time and work into this game.”

Anyways if anyone knows of other good TD gems, post them in reviews. I also really liked Jelly Defense, Mindustry, Gem Defense, of course kingdom rush (tho the last few releases have been getting stale) and Castle Creeps off the top of my head. Oh and Infinitode 2 is at least worth a play. Booblyc TD belongs on these kinds of lists. Incursion (booblycs other game) is also worth playing but isn’t as good as Booblyc. What kind of name is that anyway?

Amazing TD!

Absolutely brilliant tower defense. What Kingdom Rush: Vengeance should have been. I did encounter what may have been a pay wall at the beginning but I purchased the Hypatia hero deal for $4.99 and have been playing for countless hours since. My only complaint are the crystals required for playing a level. If you run out you need to watch a video. This should be removed after making a purchase or give us the option to pay for no ads.

Update: Gems are so generous I’d be hard pressed to call it a premium currency. By the time I’m done with the campaign I will have collected enough gems to buy all the other heroes.
