IndepNow is the official app for the City of Independence, Missouri.

Is there a pothole on your street? Street light not working? House down the street with tall grass and weeds? Let us know! It’s never been easier to tell us about any city-managed maintenance issues through the IndepNow mobile engagement app. IndepNow provides a free and simple way to use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to report all sorts of community problems and monitor progress as our staff works on a solution. Simply type in your concerns or send us a pic of the issue and location. Our staff strive to deliver outstanding customer service; however, we need your eyes and ears to help us in making Independence one of the greatest cities in the nation. - User can now delete their accounts from the profile page.
- Fixed issue with viewing nearby requests filters.
- Telephone numbers on info boxes can now be clicked to initiate a call.

Pretty worthless

This app was pretty worthless; There’s better, timely information from the local news sites/channels, nobody has to answer the phones or the doors at City Hall. No accountability either, otherwise citizens’ work requests would have been followed-through with and completed (e.g. you can mark it as ‘Fixed’ even though nothing was done.)
Weir and The Big Brother Machine probably just using it to exert force over The People. Funny how after government implemented their policies/mandates/requirements and then didn’t update anything on here for weeks after.

This app is awesome!

I easily reported a street issue and the City responded quickly, with pictures!

Inability to navigate

Absolutely the most frustrating app I have ever used. Whoever sold you this took the city’s money and ran, ditch and get new. Rebecca White
