Description

iNet - Control your network!

Easily get an overview of your local network. Which devices are online, which ports are open, which services are available? What is the address of your router? Is someone using your Wi-Fi without your knowledge? Wake up sleeping computers via the network. With iNet you can do all this and more. You can even customize found devices with your own names and icons.

Thanks to its clear and user-friendly design, iNet allows anyone, even with little technical experience, to get a comprehensive overview of their network, connected devices and active services.

iNet is a network scanner designed to make network information accessible, whether you are an experienced network specialist or a casual Mac user. It gives you the data you need to understand what's going on in your network.

No collection of user data. No “calling home”. No subscription. Just a one-time payment for lifetime use.

One of the best network tools for iOS since 2010. Developed in Germany.

Network scanner:
- View all devices that are online and connected to the network, including their IP and MAC addresses.
- You can assign your computers, routers or other network devices your own names and icons from the supplied Ion sets or your own icons to identify a device in the scan list more quickly. Most Macintosh devices are automatically displayed with the correct icon.
- Setting the IP range to be scanned or the interfaces to be scanned
- Exporting the scan results as an Excel (csv) or PDF file
- Connect to devices with different protocols

Bonjour monitor:
- Display of all running services (Bonjour) in real time
- Display of the services running on a specific device
- Display of detailed information about a service
- Selection of the active Bonjour domain

Wake on Lan
- Wake up computers in the local network and via the Internet
- Hibernation, shutdown or restart (Macintosh computers only)
- Creating a favorites list
- Sending commands to devices via ssh
- Minimum system version for WOL: OS X 10.7

Airport monitor:
- Attention! SNMP support has been removed in the latest Airport models with 802ac. iNet can no longer display statistics or WLAN connection quality for these models. The following functions of the Airport Monitor only work with Airport models prior to the latest 811ac version:
- Display of the current status of an Apple Airport base station
- Graphical display of network traffic
- Graphical display of the quality of the WLAN connection of the connected devices in real time
- Detailed information about your Apple Airport base station, such as MAC addresses, IPs, channels used, etc.

Help (currently only available in English):
- Detailed help
- Glossary of terms and abbreviations used

iNet is also available for the iPhone and iPad. iNet does not collect user data and does not make calls home. The one-time purchase includes all future updates.

Intuitive and Useful networking app

This app is very well done. Simple and straightforward interface is intuitive and discoverable, some of the top Mac UI traits that sadly have been forgotten in many other apps. Every network admin needs this in their tool belt of utilities, makes it very easy to sniff out network related issues (like multiple devices with the same IP) or simply creating a quick map of all network devices so you can see if something is working or not and/or discover a management interface for some devices that may not have been obvious. Also VERY useful if you are using DHCP and need to access some device but have no idea what it's IP is.

Best Home Network Utility

I am an avid HomeKit user, electrical engineer, and have over 50 devices on my home local area network (LAN). I have been using iNet Network Scanner for many years and appreciate all the free upgrades, new features, and increasing value. Even if a device is not in the apps substantial database, I can often find information about a device by searching online using info provided by the app. If you want to keep track of devices on your LAN, I highly recommend this app.

Purchased Years Ago

I purchased this app (along with iOS version) many years ago. It is my go to app to find the devices on my network. It's also a great tool when you are on a public network to get an idea of who you are sharing your connection with. The app itself is well laid out and works great but the best part is that the developer keeps updating the app after all of these years!
