Listen, I don’t really play video games hardly at all. But every once in a while, I’ll give a game a fair shake. Since I’m a little older, I consider video games for the most part to be obnoxious and a waste of time. But if I do make an exception, it’s almost always for a puzzle game. I’ve wanted to play this game for months and months and months. I FINALLY broke down and bought it for $25. I could not be more happy. These days, I can mostly be found programming at my computer. I enjoy the solitary and contemplative nature of it and the feeling of accomplishment. This game then is the perfect fit for me. It’s simple, fun and relaxing. I don’t think you’ll be put off by the price either; the developers did a really good job. I look forward to many more games by you guys! More puzzle games, please!
Could be a little more fancy
I’m a few hours into this game and I agree with the other reviews… its a great, mentally challenging puzzle game. My only gripe is that the environments and textures are a little plain. Even the music is a little plain after a while. I think more work on the aesthetics of the game would really increase its value, but otherwise the mechanics of the game are solid so that isn’t worth a star to me.
Also, even though the idea of “dying” in the game is mentioned in the description and alluded to quite a bit in the simple storyline, there really is no way to die unless you jump off a ledge (after which you immediately respawn). So, don’t look to the idea of character death to generate any excitement for you here.
Hard but fun
This game starts as a simple puzzle game and ramps up from there with many different things to take into account, great game to play when at work or school as it is fairly relaxed so you can go back and forth between productivity and a game plus if you quit it, it saves all your progress even within a level which is nice. be warned though it gets really hard and can get frusturating in a good challenging mentail game kind of way. definatly worth getting.
