Surprisingly F2P friendly for the time being
While the game does struggle with some English localization translation issues, the game is pretty fun to play, even if you don’t pay. You won’t be able to compete with paying players from the get-go, which is fine (as far as I can tell) because there is only a light touch of PvP. Overall, the main gameplay loop is similar to that of a somewhat-interactive idle game.
Just another background task grind-game
From the app page it looks like a more story-driven game. It references novels and from the way it talks about pets and partners I thought it would have a lot of nice npc interactions.
Really it's just an ordinary grind-type game with a boatload of confusing tasks to keep running all the time. You can't even get invested in the sect aspect, as they don't really let you choose which one you're in. You just kind of randomly get shooed out of the last one they stuck you in and start over at a lower rank in a new one.
Seriously, you start off in a righteous sect, and right about the time you finally rank up there you get a tutorial task that forces you to betray them and run off to restart as a mook in an evil sect. Joy.
Thousand times better
I had downloaded and uninstalled this game so many times past years. But I decided to give this game a try again and I’m surprised. The screen used to be so cluttered and the prompts was just so confusing. With the way the updates going it looks really good. Thanks for all y’all hard work.
