Great idea for note taking on a podcast. In general this app has the potential of being great. There are however a few glitches that need to be resolved. What I have noticed is that when you leave the app and toggle over to the web and come back to continue the podcast it sometimes won’t play & gets stuck. If you stay on the podcast till the end, playing, pausing, note taking either by voice command or the Note button doesn’t seem to be an issue. It’s nice to see at a glance ones “note taking” and also the benefit of viewing, organizing, editing & printing it from a laptop or home computer. The times when the app works correctly which I would say is about 95% and up, note taking by voice command or the note button is really cool, easy, and convenient. Icons are the perfect size for visibility and touchscreen functions. Right now this app stands close to a 4 1/2 star, but once the glitches are corrected it will undoubtably be a 5 star product. Looking forward to a glitchless Ex-Iq NoteCast.
Great Note Taking for Podcasts

NoteCast is a great way to create tags that allow you to bookmark the podcast, which is perfect as it makes it exponentially easier to find where a particular concept is in a specific podcast. I also love how it transcribes what the podcast says around the moment you tagged.I have a few issues on the phone app; there’s no area to type in additional comments, you cannot edit the transcription or even the tag names (which is frustrating if you make a typo or if you come to a better encompassing word for the tag) and the app crashes every time I try to filter by tags. It’s a brilliant app and I hope the developers work on these issues, especially since it is a paid subscription app.

I love this app. I am studying for boards and it really helps me flag sections of notes on the go. But it does take forever to load the podcasts, at least for me. And sometimes when I go to restart the podcast it starts from the beginning, not where I left off. However the benefits far outweigh the glitches.
No Bluetooth connectivity

+++ this app would be awesome if it connected to my Bluetooth in my car no update since 3-weeks ago after being told those issues would be resolved ++++ *** Update *** the updated version does run better and the skipping seems to have been eliminated. The app hasn’t closed on me on its own since the new version, THANK YOU!However, it will not connect to my Car’s Bluetooth making it very difficult to justify this app as a purchase in the future. Thanks for the improvements thus far.... I downloaded this app 3-days ago on a recommendation from the Optimum Finance Daily Podcast. I originally loved the thought of note taking option but the app continually closes on its own, or stops playing podcasts on its own. The app skips portions of the podcasts automatically and whenever I use the note taking prompt, the podcast begins to stop/start like a scratched CD. Unfortunately, I would not suggest purchasing in the future until bugs are fixed.
