Ratings and Reviews
Don’t waste your time.
I cannot stress this enough - do not waste your time on this app. We found this app to distribute a step challenge/ wellness program for our employees which turned into an absolute nightmare. Employees were dropped from challenges, email invites never arrived, random people were allowed to join our challenges, and I could get absolutely no help from the app. The only thing worse than this app is their customer service. Try reaching out for help and you will be prompted to read over a PDF or search through their FAQ pages. Those things may help me if I wasn’t having issues with the technology and the bugs found all throughout this app. I received an email from customer service asking how I thought things were going in which I sent an incredibly detailed email back describing our issues. We would have been open to purchasing the business platform if someone could help me make sense of it. The person responded with 0 solutions and suggested I visit their help center (a website link) in the future. Absolute garbage of an app. Absolute garbage of a platform. Absolute garbage customer service.
Not ready for prime time
This app has many bugs and a sloppy interface. Our company did a step challenge last month and tried this app. The app allows data from multiple sources, both phones and wearables, there is no reduction on the data, so data over-reporting is common. The app sometimes launches in a web view, where you can only see a third of the app. The app spotlights couch potato and marathoner, these are frequently the same value for any metric, so you’ll see Joe is a couch potato for walking 2000 steps and Jane is a marathoner for walking the same 2000 steps. The customer service team directs you to an FAQ page that doesn’t address your issue. The app has no polling mechanism for new data, so if you don’t explicitly launch the app—your steps are lost. If you want any sort of precision in your contests, look to a different app.
Potential but buggy
This app is exactly what I was looking for: a way for my family to setup teams and battles. Unfortunately so far the app is just inconsistent and buggy. When I try to revisit a team Battle I’ve created, I have to hunt and hunt for it rather than it showing up under home under my contests. I also cannot edit it. So I tried to create a new one instead and I can’t send invites. Facebook connect also yielded no results although I’m sitting beside my wife and I know she’s in the system. Also def needs a manual refresh for steps and such. Lots of potential, just not there yet
After using this first day, I also note that the team battles aren’t correctly calculating totals. For example my home shows I have 9k or so steps and my wife has some too. Our team only shows 5k steps combined. Giving this info to help developer not to bash. I love the idea of this app and want it to be successful! Will gladly come back and give 5 stars once things are more consistent
