Impossible to Use
The idea of the app is amazing. Based off the way everything is laid out and what you can—or should—be able to to, this app should be way better than Wattpad.
But it’s not.
The reason behind this is that NOTHING WORKS. I tried submitting the first chapter of a book I’d already had written on Wattpad, but the submit option never works. I just keep pressing it, hoping it’ll work, and it doesn’t. So I tried backing out and giving it a second go around, but still nothing.
This isn’t just in submitting a chapter. It also won’t let you use the suggested tags, or separate your tag into a second one without using the suggested options. It doesn’t let you save your story after you’ve filled out the title page. It doesn’t save the cover photo you use, even after you smash the save button over and over again.
Literally nothing in the app works. Idk if it’s a bug, but I’m deleting the app until it’s fixed. I’ve already got a profile on Wattpad that’s going well for me, and it’s just not worth it to mess with this one, too.
Don’t waste your time until it’s fixed, if it ever is. I understand it’s a new app and is still in development, but what’s the point of letting people download it if there’s actually nothing they can do on it.

Hi, Ethereal92! We really appreciate the feedback and are sorry to hear about your experience. While the app is still in testing, there are bugs that still need to be addressed, though we've made a lot of fixes in the last few weeks, which should be reflected in the performance. It sounds like that's not the case for you, so we'd love it if you could email us at firstname.lastname@example.org (or use the Contact Support button in the app), so we can find your account and dive deeper into these issues. We hope to hear from you, and thanks for your help!
I haven't been on Inkitt for any longer than a year and I must say I was using wattpad a lot more than Inkitt because I was frustrated that you couldn’t use the app to write. A lot of the times I don’t have access to a computer and it’s irritating. Being able to write from my phone was so much more convenient. Wattpad allowed that. However, I’ve always liked how formal Inkitt was. It’s more like reading a real book. On wattpad you have to deal with “authors notes” and stuff like that. Pointless dribble. Inkitt is more formal than that which is what I enjoy most. Now that you can write on your phone, I love it even more, probably just as much as wattpad and I’ve been on wattpad for 6 years. Not to mention, so far, the app seems to be just like the computerized version which makes everything so much more enjoyable.
Ok This is hard to belive but i constantly Make books in my mind And its hard keeping all them in a book. I Used wattpad. Wattpad was VERY confusing and the font wasnt very good. I gave Up keeping them in a book. I uninstalled the app after a week. 1 year later still doing them And here i found inkitt! One of the best apps i use!
1.Simple app within a tap!
This app is very simple to use! Without a tutorial You can easily navigate throught the app! Everything is one there I can easily understand! You DONT need to pay To Get All Features which wattpad is!
Wattpads main color is orange. Not Really my type and to change the theme/Color you must pay for SUCH a silly thing. Inkitt is a simple black with is pretty nice! The app has a nice style!
Inkett Has a nice community Groups to choose from! You can advertise your book Or Just talk! Nice thing wattpad dosent have. I find this is a really nice feature!
There Is only one and that is A READING CATEGORY.
Wattpad has the option to read AND write stories! While Inkeitt has A Seprate app Just to read which is i found quite disappointing :( Ik this is the beta change right now but i hope they add in the future as an official update!
This is my first time writing a review and i enjoyed it! Thank You Inkitt!
