Description

For breast cancer survivors, scar-coverage tattoos can be a form of healing. But the decision to get inked is very personal. The Inkspiration app by P.ink offers survivors a way to "try on" mastectomy tattoos in the privacy of their own homes. Users can select a body type or upload a photo to get a better idea of what designs might look like on them. Inkspiration houses a growing library of tattoo inspiration and helps users identify real-world tattoo artists with mastectomy experience.

Needs work

Great idea. However, there is a VERY limited amount of tattoo designs to pick from and they are only in black. I was excited to see the app, until I tried it. Need a couple of hundred tattoos to make this helpful to mastectomy patients. For now, I will stick to looking at internet sites that show real women's post mastectomy tattoos until I decide what I want.

Awesome concept. Add more of everything. More chests (scar all the way across), more tattoos. Thanks for including chests without any reconstruction.

don't bother

Only 32 tattoo designs, most of them left and right mirrored versions of the same design, with no evident way to add or access more. Deleted app within minutes of downloading.

The developer, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.
