The best note training app-Period!

I’ve bought and tried them all, but oddly enough, this is the only one that allows me to practice bass and treble clefs at once with a piano keyboard. Being a timed game makes it addicting to beat my own score. During the years that this app was in-operable, there was no replacement. My only request would be to have an option to increase the octaves to the full extent of an 88 key piano. While you’re getting fancy, also please consider (perhaps as a separate app) a similar timed game to select the correct chord by name with an option to include inversions. We need this. I would try to write it myself if I had the time.

I've had your app for years and been using it a lot. Once it stopped working along with the new iOS updates it was saddening.

Then I noticed you finally updated it! Thanks so much for updating your app! I love it and I still use it to tune my ears and practice. You rock

Absolutely Brilliant!

This little gadget is absolutely amazing. I've messed around playing by ear for ages, but iNoteTrainer taught me note position, name and attached both to a pitch faster than years of piano lessons. There is room for improvement. The main menu needs a little work... too many clicks to change the level and/or type of training. Those options could be accomplished with a few separate radio buttons on the main menu. It should definitely have an optional profile mode for wider keys (don't tie it to the orientation of the iphone, make it a conscious selection). These are all 'nice to haves'... the one thing that Pokmis NEEDS to add is a countdown to start. (a la Brain Trainer). Still -- don't let the lack of these features keep you from buying this ridiculously useful little app.
