Ratings and Reviews
This is a great app for removing unwanted objects
If you don’t want to shell out HUGE bucks for a fancy photo editor this is what you need. I have so many photos that are just great if not for the power line, trash can or some other object in the photo that really messes it up. It is extremely intuitive. With a few strokes you can remove people and/or unwanted objects to really clean up the photo. I downloaded this app originally in 2011, i believe it was Version 2. Version 7 is much faster and less buggy as before sometimes you had to repeat the process a few times to get what you wanted. Now it is much more seamless. This is an app that is priced right and worth the money. Note: I had an issue with the serial key and I sent off an email requesting assistance. I received an answer and a solution to my problem within a few hours, not bad considering that these guys are on a completely different time zone.
Great Time Saver - Great Results
To do a proper review of InPaint it’s too bad we can't post a before and after photo. See no way to do that so you are just going to have to take my word for it. This app works as advertised. I had a photo I liked very much but there it was with the subject holding a newspaper and another section of the newspaper sitting to the side. Without those items it was a pretty good photo. Using InPaint I was able to take out all the newspaper quite easily. I could hardly beIieve how well it did that. Because I am kind of obsessive-compulsive about photos, I did do a bit of touch up, but not much. It was amazing.
Practice Makes Perfect
I've been using this for many years. In the beginning it was sometimes difficult to get good results in more complex images. However with practice it becomes easier. The program has some idiosyncracies one gets used to in time. One can remove unwanted portions a bit at a time, going as small as choosing a single pixel and replacing it with a single pixel from another part of the image. This can be somewhat time consuming but the results are phenominal. For the most part the modifications are very simple and easy to do in a single pass. I highly recommend this software!
