This app needs a lot of work. Why is the app not giving me any information on my sleep apnea. I was all excited about the implant that I received September 23, 2025. The app doesn’t give you any information except you slept for so many hours. I called tech support and I was told my doctor has the detailed information. Meaning I have to wait until I see the doctor to inform me of how I doing with the implant. This is very inconvenient. Hopefully the app developers will give access to the metrics to the patients through the app.

At 49 years old and feeling as bad as I did, I truly felt I was beyond the pinnacle of my life and could only get worse from here on. I never realized how bad my chest pain was every single day. I was put on increasing doses of medication to make it through the day, and more mediation to turn off at night. Within couple of weeks following the implant, my chest pain’s are completely gone and I’m off all my mediation except one first thing in the morning. I’m usually up wide awake and ready to start my day at least by 4am. Not once have I even thought about or felt like napping during the day. My son turned 12 years old this past Saturday and all we have been doing is playing football and basketball, together again. I would never have believed in a million years that Inspire could give me my life back to be able to enjoy and love my sons life every single day. It’s simply the most amazing thing that I’ve ever done. Thank you Inspire for truly helping me not give up,

  • UnInspired App

    App is on Vacation

After having my Inspire implanted, I downloaded the App and started using it. I logged my nightly sleep data as required to track my progression. The data is kinda misleading. I would still wake up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom. You have the option to pause the device but I chose not to. One I wake up, I’m up so it’s tough to get back to sleep. I lay there with the device still on and it’s recording the data thinking your asleep. After my 2nd doctor’s appointment, something changed and the App wouldn’t connect to Bluetooth. It would show up and see it but wouldn’t connect. I reached out to Inspire for Technical Support. Spent an hour on the phone with one person going over the installation process which I had spent hours trying to reconnect. It was useless. A 2nd person called and did the same thing. After trying to get the App to reconnect to Bluetooth unsuccessfully , she said she would have someone call me. That’s been almost 2 weeks. I still use the device nightly but I’m unable to track my progress. The name of the App should change its name to “Uninspired”!!!!

  • Works well 2 years in.

I’ve had no problems in almost 2 years of use with the remote pairing with my iPhone 13. The company must’ve sped up the download because it usually happens in seconds now. Data shows how many hours the device worked ea nite and when exactly it was on/off/paused. Inspire has been waaaay better than CPAP for me. And my wife says I’m way quieter so she’s sleeping better too. The tongue thing can be a bit weird but a lot less so than a mask and a hose and not being able to sleep an any position you want.

  • Almost useless

The app is very basic. Most people don’t even download it until after they receive the implant so all the “resources”’ are useless. There should be some place to put notes as to any issues of a particular day. I have chronic pain which affects my sleep. There is no way to correlate the sleep quality with my waking, trying to fall back to sleep. Etc. Unfortunately it leads the technician to want to adjust the number to a different number than what is ideal. If we could document the outside influences, then there would be a better chance of understanding the data properly. The app is just really bad. Considering the technology that goes into the implant, this app is the Stone Age.

  • Horrible app

After spending thousands and thousands of dollars, I am unable to download my data for days at a time. It always says “data unavailable “ with some lame excuse that they maybe processing data like ResMed app for cpap.( they have a crappy app too) I am having to re sync Bluetooth multiple times to download data. The implant is great and I am sleeping beautifully but when data downloads the only thing it tells you is how many hours you slept and app asks how I feel. Seriously? I thought it might tell me if I snored or apnea episodes. Other apps track snoring.
