The free version of this app has changed from unlimited seconds per measurement to only 7 seconds, making it pretty useless. By the time I get the phone near my heart and my finger and finger pressure placed accurately, I end up with only 1-2 seconds of measurement - too short for the reading to be accurate. They made a good app bad.
To enable continuous detection, open the "more" tab and disable "auto Stop HR msmts." This will continue tracking your heart rate as long as your finger is in position. If you need additional assistance, you can reach the Instant Heart Rate technical support team by opening the “more” tab, selecting “help” and then “feedback and support”
THIS APP is amazing it just when they check your heart rate it kinda takes a long time it will say “11 seconds left” and then it will just pause or freeze (the time) and then I have to start over but in the end it always works I love this app I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong though
Sometimes it can take longer than expected for Instant Heart Rate app to complete a measurement, but you can always reach out to our team directly if you need assistance by opening the “more” tab, selecting “settings” and then “tech support” Additionally you can reach our support team via email at support@instantheartrate.com
I know this is just an app so I will take it a little easy. It’s not going to be totally accurate, but one day my heart rate read 187 and within a minute it went back down to 97. Feel like if I was at 187 for real I would have been in the hospital? 187 seems excessive for my resting heart rate and very inaccurate. Fortunately, most of the time it reads well, while other times it spits out ridiculous numbers where probably should have been hospitalized on life support of something
Instant Heart Rate app is not a medical device. If you need assistance you can reach the Instant Heart Rate technical support team by opening the “more” tab, selecting “help” and then “feedback and support” Additionally you can reach our support team via email at support@instantheartrate.com
The info it collects is helpful, except it only retains part of the data collected from each test. It would be far more useful for me if the whole chart was stored and shareable the same way it’s collected. Also, if I use it 3X in a row, sitting in the same chair, same position, I get 3 very different measurements. Not sure why. So it’s not very useful for me now. If I knew this, I would not have paid for a whole year.
I was using this app for a long time due to how fast it would load and immediately throwing you into the heart rate monitor. Unfortunately, the developers are now requiring total sign in/up, they took away the ability to check your rate without signing up, now forcing you to the account creation page. It is frankly ridiculous to require so much personal information just to scan for a heart rate. I will no longer use this app or recommend it to others.
App is easy to use and works well. Only problem is — since the new update, it won’t work for a heart rate less than 40 bpm. Sometimes my heart rate can be 38-39. If this is true (per my watch), the app glitches and won’t register it. It just doesn’t work!!! This didn’t used to be true, only since a recent update. Very annoying!!
