I don't believe any automated translation app is going to be 100% correct 100% of the time. This app comes close though with French and Spanish. Speaking both languages I do have to make some tweaks here and there. That's fine. This will always happen. Sometimes the app even gives me suggestions to say something differently. So I'm thrilled with it. The auto copy-and-paste and it's ease of use sets this apart from several others. For me this is definitely a keeper.

When it works it is really, really good. I upgraded and it still is glitchy when you copy or need to copy and paste translations. It does not always function as promised and I am closing and opening the app too frequently. Still 4 stars because 90 percent of the time it is perfect.

Integration into the Mac OS is great. Love to be able to copy and the translation automatically show in the menu bar. However, when clicking the audio button for russian translation the app only spells the translated word letter by letter like this: "cyrillic letter ф, cyrillic letter и..." and so on. Having the correct pronounciation of a cyrillic word is very important in learning the Russian language, this causes me to resort to good translate once again when I need an audio example. Other than this, the app is great.

I working in China and I absolutely love this companion. I say that because it truly helps me throughout the entire workday. From simply copying some text, to capturing a part of the screen in which I can’t copy the text, it recognizes it and is able to give me a stable translation without any issues. I really enjoy it and I can’t live without it.
