1. Audio always plays through the iPad's speakers, even if the edge switch (by the volume buttons) is set to Silent.
2. When any of the audio index buttons are clicked, the Latin text scrolls to the corresponding position.
Ratings and Reviews
This app is easy to figure out and navigate right away. I especially like the inclusion of a pronunciation guide with the memorization section. The practice section allows you to simultaneously read and hear the prayers/responses, which aids in reinforcement. The test section lets you try your responses along with the audio of the Priest's prayers and then, when needed, compare your answers quickly to the text by simply hitting pause. Putting it all together, this app is a very useful and handy tool for anyone who wants to learn how to serve Mass in the Extraordinary Form!
This app does exactly what it was intended for. No more, no less. The Priest and the server both speak clearly and pronounce the Latin well.
Changing the '62 Missal
This app, as well as the iMass app, has changed the 'Confiteor'...and to you, Pater (Father), to ...and to you, fratres (brothers). Why has this been done? And by whose authority?
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
