Why no updates? Extremely Frustrated Customer!

We've used Corrigo's Field Service Software for over 5 years. It does a good job but they've failed to make any updates. Most recently in the past few months our technicians experience a lot of frustration because the app constantly kicks them out when entering work descriptions, adding photos or text notes. All of their work gets lost and they usually end up having to call in their work orders for completion.
We have 6 field users and 5 desktop users. We’ve made many suggestions when speaking to the Corrigo Tech Support and get a lot of finger pointing between Corrigo and Intuit. Neither of whom take responsibility for the issues we continually experience.

Works good overall needs bug fixes still have random crashes and emails take forever to send from the app also.

Signatures Missing Integrity

Currently, my main gripe with the app is that the signature capture does not capture the main details required for service ticket integrity - the date and time!

How can we possibly submit our tickets, when billing our customer, with no time or date?? The signature capture includes only the “Promised Arrival Time” which is only the scheduled date (no year, mind you). In most cases this should be the same day the work is performed, but not always if we or the customer has to reschedule. But on top of that, the start and stop times are missing. How is the customer supposed to know when you were there and in exactly what day?

We work around it by having the technicians add the date and time to the work done field, but you’re starting to lose what’s great about an automated ticketing system because, you know, it’s no longer automated!

On top of that the app has started crashing often again, which makes sense as it hasn’t been updated in two years. We planned on moving to the Corrigo direct platform once we have over 10 of our 24 technicians onboard, but if it’s going to be more of this, we’ll have to look elsewhere.
