What shows on the credit card.... one of the world’s unanswered question evidently
Apparently this question is like asking how stone hinge was built or why? If one is working on very personal issues it’s preferable for one’s family not to find out via the credit card bill. I have looked all over the website, and the app store and sent an email but can’t get an answer. I am giving this 3 stars only because I have not signed up yet since I am majorly concerned about the above question. I will say that emails appear to disappear into a black hole instead of being answered by a support team
I’d maybe rate the functionality and UI of the app itself worse and the actual functionality of the website and what it offers a little higher, so this is the happy medium.
First, to address the app, it’s terrible. Garbage. Honestly, you’re better off just adding an icon for the website to the homescreen and using that. The app is basically just a webpage wrapper anyway. And it’s not even optimized for the iPhone X screen, which makes it that much worse. You know what, I’m going to change the rating to 1 star, the app is just that bad, and it really needs addressed. At least make the app display properly on the platform it’s released on, that’s a pretty reasonable request. :)
The actual website and the resources are actually pretty good! You can’t go jerk around and leave the video playing just to power through the lessons like you inevitably eventually will try to if you don’t read this. The video stops if your screen goes dark or you switch apps, so it’s almost like someone actually cared to make sure you were at least halfway paying attention. That is the real goal if you’re downloading this - to get results. I’m still fairly new, so whether results will actually happen remains to be seen, but even the terrible app didn’t kill my vibe, so I’m optimistic.
I joined this app and paid for the first cycle ($9.99) because it really seemed like a good idea that could help me work through some stuff at a much lower cost than other similar counseling apps. However, once I joined, they asked me to set up a time with my coach and my coach had no available time and was offline each time I tried to set up a chat session. I searched for other coaches and it said that there were no other coaches available either. Even in the peer support groups, most posts had very little engagement. It seems like maybe this was a thriving app at one point and then fell out of favor so now there are very very few participants which means nobody can really get good help. Normally I wouldn’t be too upset but I wasted $9.99 and got nothing for my money. I researched how to get a refund and was sent in circles with no definitive answer. Looks like I’m out ten bucks and am still an emotional wreck after all of it. LOL but seriously this app needs to step up its game and stop jipping people.
