Using "musical OCR" - OMR, this app can sight read sheet music.
This is the Pro version which supports load and save of captures and exporting to MIDI. Note that loading from the camera roll or image library is not supported, only loading previously saved captures.
NOTE: Music recognition is a difficult problem. This app does not support the complete set of notation, for instance whole notes and the alto clef are not recognized. Depending on how the print looks and the quality of the photo the app may have trouble recognizing the notes and symbols correctly - do not expect perfect results!

Ok, But Not Great
Yes, it reads most of the notes, but it skips too many. Worst of all for me and my daughter, it totally ignores key signatures.

Complete and colossal piece of $h!t. Doesn’t work 75% of the time and when it does work it skips notes and ignores timing. And then completely stops playing sound for no reason. Then you have to delete app and reinstall it just for it to play music and then you’ve deleted all the sheet music you’ve already scanned don’t waste your time or money completely frustrating and piece of garbage
Garbage
Won’t read super simple piano notation with whole notes in the bass and a quarter note melody. 100% wish I could get a refund. Absolute garbage.
