I would give this app 5 stars because it’s a dream to use and I really appreciate this as a resource. Here’s the “but”. Even though I’ve scaled it correctly for printing, I’m still getting unsatisfactory results. 3” gone from length and 1” from width when I print my templates. I even went to the big printing store and spent the 5 bucks to have them do it for me.. same thing. Scaled at 100%.. I still bought my boy a cup of coffee for the excellent app and for the simple fact the you can use your own template curves with the measurements provided on the app of your design. So, as an advanced shaper, I can use the metric measurements make my dots and connect it to blend it to my desired shape… but yeah, scaling is the issue here. I will edit and correct this review if for some reason this was my error. Until then, I will continue to use and support this app. Cheers

Just downloaded and played around a little, but seems rad! We help customers design and shape their own boards, so no two boards are the same. This app will let us do quick design concepts that look right instead of the junky drawings we’re used to hand sketching in conversations with customers. It’s not designed to do a whole lot, but it does the things it is designed to do very well and simply. I’d love to see the option to determine board thickness and calculate a rough volume measurement in the future to refine the process. Wonder if there are any plans to add a feature that would allow an export to AKU or other softwares to pick-up deeper design right from where you left off with your outline...

I have been using this app for the last 3 boards i’ve made, and its super useful for rapidly making different outlines and comparing them. Its easy to send your designs to your friends too, so you can bounce ideas off of each-other. The app also lets you print out an entire template out of printer paper and taping it together. My friend has had success with that, but i just use the offsets. The app is a great tool for making boards.

Easy to use, intuitive controls, and the perfect tool for people like me, who are new to shaping, and want to play around with dimensions to see how a board will turn out. The option to print out a full size board template is also very nice. No complaints, works as advertised, and totally free.

Keep your stoke alive whether at home or on the road! This shaping app is great for any aspiring surfboard shaper! I use it to record my sparks of creative thinking when I’m not at home or can’t use my laptop. It could use more design features, but overall it’s a great tool for capturing those random moments of inspiration and creativity. Thanks for releasing a great product!

I’m not sure if this is gonna work or if it’s even worth it but I’m gonna turn it up. I’m gonna shape a board in about a month if it worked out well and I’ll be at the customer. However, computer wise I’m a moron, and I was able to use that pretty easy.
