iStudiez Pro Legendary Planner 4+

I am a graduate student and I was alerted to this app by a friend who uses it comprehensively for all classes. I like the all-in-one approach, which allows you to both centralize and separately view your classes, assignments, schedules, and exams.
Things I wish to see to make this more effective and useable:
- recurrent/weekly assignments: many assignments I have are due every week, and of similar kinds, it would be great to have such a feature
- types of assignments pre-identified or with available inputs: something like color-coding could go a long way here, but what I basically want is the ability to select a type of pre-defined/customizable assignment type (i.e. readings, forum post, writing session, review group, etc.)
- multi-step assignments with separate significant (not just due) dates: I have several assignments in which the prompt will come out at some future date that I need to be aware of as a distinct calendar item, which would be part of an overall assignment.

This platform excels in simplicity and a variety of user-capable customization options. It does not offer much in the way of systemic options as features, such as those listed above, and could be greatly improved by these types of additions/options as fine tunings.

I started using this app during the spring semester of my freshman year, after struggled to keep track of all of my assignments in a hands-off college setting. I am now in my senior year, and still use it religiously, and reccomend it to all college students. I usually spend a few hours at the beginning of the semester inputting all of my asignments from the syllabus. Once I do that, it’s pretty much set for the semester, and maitenance is just checking assignments off, which is weirdly fun! This keeps me organized, helps me to see what my week will be like, and I never forget about an assignment. I also love that it calculates out your grades based on weights - very helpful when your professor and online calculators can’t do that for you. All of the functions that the app offers are easy to use, and I’ve never had any glitches or issues with it. I also love that it auto-syncs to a mobile app!

I did see that another user reccommended recurring assignments, and I agree that this would save me some time when inputting things. But, I also think that the lack of this feature doesn’t detract from the overall quality of the app, especially for a one-time $10 payment!

I would 100% reccomend this over a paper planner for any busy college student who likes to stay organized. It’s so much simplier, less bulky, and easier to adjust than any paper planner, and has improved my GPA and mental health!

We are absolutely agree with you that after you spend an hour or two adding all the assignments at the beginning of a new study year, the use of the app then is pretty easy ;)

I have a few issues with the software. The first thing that needs to be fixed is when you click on an assignment you cant click the exit assignment depending on where your windows are located. Secondly there should be an easy option to put in all of your classes at the beginning of the semester. Like a prompt so that you can input all of your classes without, creating a class and messing around with all of the parameters. Also there should be different types of events that you can add like meetings. Also i think that the app needs some rebranding, I tried to tell my friends about it but istudiez sounds sort of weird. I should be like 'study calendar' or 'study schedule'. Aside from these minor grievances I have, everything else works great after everything is set up. It just needs to be optimized so that it is extremely easy to write an assignment down with the correct due date. Great app. 10/10 would recommend.

Thank you for the feedback. We'll keep an eye on the reported issue. As to the name, well, we are mote than 10 years on the market and 'iStudiez Pro" is the name of the app it is known all these years. We are not going to change it ;)
