iTab is the quickest way to find guitar tabs for the songs you love.

Search for tabs directly from your desktop from several major tab providers and for different instruments.

Many guitarists practise using tabs from their computer. iTab lets you search for tabs directly from your Mac. Instantly search for any song you desire without opening up your web browser. Better yet, using the Follow iTunes/Spotify feature, sit back and have the tabs delivered to you along side your music!

Select different instrument types to get different tabs: guitar, bass, drums, chords or TabPro.
Choose your preferred source: Ultimate-Guitar, 911Tabs or Google.

It’s OK

This is just a wrapper for a few tab sites. Nothing fancy. If you’re looking for a simple tool to search UG, 911, etc, it does the job but nothing more.

Not worth the money

To call this an “app” is pushing it. Essentially, it’s just a small Safari window with a “song” & “artist” search bar & a few other toolbar items for refining your search. Granted, the app description pretty much tells you that’s what it is, but where it misleads you on is the browsing experience. Unlike the the images in the description above, the actual chord/tab pages displayed in the app have ads everywhere just like if you were to view it from your browser (not using an ad-blocker).
I do like the “Follow iTunes” & “instrument type” selector features, but not enough to make it worth $2.99. In my opinion, you’re better off just browsing your favorite tab site in your browser with an ad-blocker extension.

As another reviewer said, it would be nice if the app had a page zoom function.

Great for guitar players!

It follows iTunes and automagically finds the best tab for the song playing in iTunes! Just have your guitar ready and play the latest weezer song as your jammin to the new White album. Works perfectly. Would love to see page zoom feature!
