Fun but buggy

I really enjoy this app and the variations it offers, but the aces deucey crashes often because the computer player is allowed to make an illegal play. It's not trying to cheat but ends up in an internal error that causes the app to crash. Still worth the download if you enjoy backgammon.
Update: tried latest version, but can only select double 6 after rolling 1+2, other doubles seem disabled. Other games seem to work great.

Developer Response ,

Could you please try the latest version.

Thank you

Very buggy. Games have to be ended.

I like the game because it’s simple and calming. BUT If you get a phone call or exit out of the game for any reason, often the game will get stuck and your only option is to forfeit. Also, the past couple days, the game just randomly gets stuck and you’re waiting for your turn but it just keeps loading and waiting then it asks if you want to end or report your opponent. There is no way to go back to that game. You have to restart with game 1 again. Very very annoying.
UPDATE: Developer says that if you close the game for any reason then you have to give it some time to reopen. But I’ve waited 5-10 minutes: made coffee, went outside to check my mail… still wouldn’t open.

Developer Response ,

Hi Veggie,

If you close the game, for any reason, then when you open it again, it has to reconnect to the game server. This takes some time. During that period of time you can not make any move. Please, note that you can be offline for a short period of time. If you exceed that period your opponent can terminate the game
UPDATE: If you are in an online game, and for any reason you close the game (do not terminate it), then when you open it again, you need to wait a couple of seconds before you can continue playing. I do not understand why you have to wait for 5-10 minutes for the game to open. Apparently, you have found a bug. Would you like to send me an email with the issue?

Best Backgammon App ever & best customer service

The developer and this whole app is amazing. They are always upgrading their app to fix the bugs and they have an impressively fast response rate when you message them on FB messenger for help or to give feedback. I have been using this app for a few years off and on. My favorite part is just about everything!
-you can play all the Tavli games not just portes
-you can play tournaments in order with portes, plakato, fevga
-you can play games online with other players
-you can play by yourself against the phone or with another physical person (or yourself)
