Meh. No Handwriting so this is not mind mapping
Mind mapping is a simple but brilliantly effective activity to sort thoughts. It is so simple in fact, that it does not translate well to the computer. The whole point of mind mapping is to avoid the clutter, focus on simple, clear objectives and chain of task.
It’s not hard to find mind map apps but unfortunately, they all do basically the same thing - overlook the basic need of handwriting to mind map effectively. This one is no different. Forced to use the keyboard, are sucked back into left brain thinking, must follow the method of thinking that works for someone else (the developer), which is exactly the opposite of what mind mapping should be.
Trial Lacks Simplicity
Was considering buying but could not get the trial version to do anything. Why can’t the trial just be a blank map to experiment with? Limited functions is fine and fair for developer. The super cluttered map I was confronted with did not provide me with a way to get a quick idea of how to get started or how steep the leaning curve would be.
Developer Response ,
The trial version is fully functional (only limited to 20 topics.) There is information on toketaware.com and you can always drop me an email (email@example.com)
Needs to be clearer that this is a demo version
It isn't a bad app, but is severely limited to 20 nodes.
