iUSBport is the USB port for iPad. This is the companion app for HyperDrive iUSBport (a hardware accessory sold separately) which allows the iPad to access any USB flash drive or hard drive over an ad-hoc peer-to-peer Wi-Fi network or over a local wireless network. No Internet, computers, routers or external power required. Browse photos, documents or even instantly stream HD movies or music from any USB drive to the iPad. Transfer files between the iPad and USB drive.

Possible ruin of iPhone 7 running OS 12
Works fine on my old iPad mini and iPhone 6 on 11.4. When I turned it on it set an ad hoc wi-fi connection and the phone immediately shut down, then went through a number on restarts, each presenting either a fragmented screen or a frozen screen. I tried the button presses and after a number of attempts I was finally able to reach a password screen that worked. The phone now works but I won’t try using the iUSBport2 again.
This only thing is, does this app allow one to create a folder and upload/download files. If this app is supposed to do this function. I tried the app out with my Hyperdrive UDMA2 device. And it works to view files just find but I really need an app that can Upload/download file to my UDMA2.
I will probably go back to using FileBrower or fileExplorer that work great with my UDMA2 and has all the above functions.
