iVerify Basic 4+

After I press the various side buttons on my iPhone and feel the haptic buzz, the power off screen automatically appears. Every time. If I cancel, it just goes back to the prior app screen to start the process all over again. Am I supposed to power off? Am I supposed to let the power off screen sit there for a period of time? When does the scan actually begin? Very confused. Thanks for the opportunity to try your product for a $1 though. I’d go thru App Support, but the link just takes me to the general website and there is no Contact Us link. Please help.

You’re handing over access and handing your sensitive data to this company over the web with no assurances or protections(and paying for the privilege to do so) in order to supposedly try and defend against allowing others to access that same information.

Be aware that’s what this is before purchasing. It does scan on-device, but in order to process that scan you have to literally upload that data to the web and hand it to iVerify—which I certainly don’t trust any more than a typical bad actor you’d defend against; do YOU trust iVerify? Who are they? What transparency do you have? Could it be intercepted or stored? “Only a dollar” Not to mention they limit you to 1 scan/upload per month, so don’t be fooled by the Family Sharing option either. This is deceptive marketing that was highly suspicious from the get-go. “Give us full access to your data to protect your data”. No thanks.

Most excellent app with superb content !
Not being very tech savvy, I would easily become confused. With the jargon and the functionality of same. This app gave me the guidance to reasonably protect my devices. And as I’d follow their guide lines along with their explanation of the process as to why I was being directed to change things. I began to understand and relate. All while feeling at ease my devices were reasonably protected. Now am researching the cause and effect of of all user end security info to try and remain secure in the quagmire of today’s digital world. Thanks iVerify for putting all this info under one umbrella.
