No means of communication to answer questions?

This product is very frustrating with very little instruction as to how to use the program and absolutely no support if you have questions. There is no means of contact by phone, chat or email. The information has the potential to be very useful, but the interface is lacking. I missed the day I’m supposed to do the sugar shot. Now what do I do? Who knows? There’s no customer service to ask and no instruction within the app. I accidentally entered the time wrong on a food entry which will completely skew the data. Oh well, there’s no way to go in and edit it. Really?! My heart rate data constantly says failed to sync but it is showing up in the graph. Am I missing something? There’s nobody to ask. Unless you never make mistakes, stay away because there’s no way to correct them and zero communication.

You know nothing about food until you try this

What an unlock! This app and the Season of Me program that goes with it showed me where I’ve been going right—and wrong—with my diet. I struggled with prediabetes for years after having gestational diabetes during pregnancy. I got it under control by being a little nutty about carbs and sugar, limiting fruit, and exercising a ton. But I was still always close to the borderline. On this program the app was able to read my glucose constantly so I could pinpoint the problems, and what was working. I learned crazy stuff! Black beans spike my glucose (used to eat a ton of them) but white beans don’t. Bread of any kind is bad but whole wheat pasta combined with protein? Fine! And if I want to eat something carb-y, I just do some stairs in my house for 10 minutes and the spike never happens. Cocktails, which I always felt guilty about, are fine as long as they’re not super sugary. The learnings go on and on, telling you what’s right for you, because we all respond really differently to food. I feel like I’m on my way to my best A1C result in years. I’m actually looking forward to a blood test!

Needs more work on product strategy

This could be a great app, and is likely the future of nutrition apps. However, it needs more thought on the product strategy. From the start, it was unclear that I would be getting a package with the first two days’ experiments, so I missed the first day of experimentation, as I was out of town. The first two weeks were great, but I still can’t download my 14 day report (and I’m past the 30 days of my program). I learned little to nothing over the last two weeks of the program; it would have been better if there was some emphasis on fiber? And, now, I guess I still have access to the app, but I don’t know what it will get me?
