Description

For the first time, with this Version 2.0 of the app, users can “Select Language” to select either English or Spanish. And the app will display in either Vertical or Horizontal device orientation. You can also “Select Audio” with three possible audio recordings of kirtan artists, Snatam Kaur, Nirinjan Kaur or Sada Sat Simran Singh. These recordings have very authentic and accurate pronunciation. Each audio is at a different slow, medium or fast pace. The slow audio will be perfect to learn Japji. The medium is for the intermediate reader and the fast audio is perfect if you are very familiar with Japji. You can also choose to “Disable Audio” so as to read Japji at your own pace. With “Select Language” you can also choose to display the words in Gurmukhi, or transliteration, or the translation – both available for English and Spanish. You can choose to display one or all three of these options and in the “Settings” you can select four different sizes of the text. There is a “Daily Reminder” function to set a timer to remind you when you want to read Japji each day. Another feature is that you can choose to read along with the “Repeat Paurees 11x”, choosing any of the 40s sections of Japji to repeat 11 times. This app also has all the words for the Aquarian Sadhana mantras that you can read along with in any darkened room as your device screen is illuminated. In Japji Sahib Guru Nanak touches the deepest essence of individual consciousness, elevating one to the universal consciousness. The reciting of Japji aloud transforms through the powerful Naad vibration of these sounds. Recite it, connect to it and feel the power of it like never before!

What’s New

Version 2.0.2

Fixed a bug where the repetitions counter for repeating paurees would occasionally skip a number.

Nam Sadhana ,

Option to slow down the audio

This is the best app for recitation and use it daily for Aquarian Sadhana. If you could add a option to slow down the recitation for learning it would greatly improve this app for beginners.

Kirti Harpriya ,

Exactly what I’ve been searching for!

Thank you so much for creating this app! I was stumbling around and quite frankly intimidated by the prospect of pronouncing the Japji correctly. I was already convinced that reciting it was life changing so when I found this app I was thrilled! I love the medium speed and I appreciate that there are options for faster or slower. I’m joyful about the fact the it has the Gurmukhi, the transliteration and translation all available right there as well as the option to chant all of it or 11 recitations of one pauree (the perfect amount!). I’m on day 16 and I see the difference in my life already. I’m so very grateful for your dedication and fabulous resources!

I tell anyone interested about this app. I love that the words light up to keep track. I love the three speeds. I love the different translations and transliteration.
