This app is incredible! There are a few things that could stand to be tweaked but even with those hiccups it’s by far the best kids money app out there!The awesome stuff: you transfer money in to a family wallet and then can distribute it to the kid’s accounts. They can see it on their devices, even spend it with their digital debit card. So cool! You can set up weekly allowance and they can put it in savings or spending. What’s better: you can set up tasks for them to earn money. There are even deadlines to do these things. Amazing.The challenges: I find some aspects difficult to navigate. For example, it’s easy to transfer money to a kid, but I can’t figure out how to make a deduction from a kid’s account. My kids are younger (7 and 10) so they aren’t using their debit cards yet (although I’m thrilled that they’ll be able to in the future!) so at this point it’s more of a record keeper for us. I don’t think I can manage the kids accounts on their behalf- I believe they need to go in on their device to do this. I’d love to be able to make adjustments like transferring some of their money to their savings. Overall, Jassby you are crushing it! Thank you for making such an awesome app! I would totally pay a one-time fee for it.
Jassby is an exceptional debit card for kids that makes managing allowances a breeze. As a parent, I love that I can instantly transfer funds and set spending notifications and limits all from their user-friendly app. Within minutes, my daughter had her stylish card ready to swipe or tap.She immediately started using it to pay for her snacks and activities with friends. The real-time notifications give me peace of mind always knowing her spending. An added plus is that Jassby has partnered with some of her favorite brands to offer discounts and cashback rewards when she shops with her card.Overall, the Jassby debit card provides an unparalleled experience for parents to conveniently manage allowances digitally while teaching financial responsibility. I highly recommend Jassby as the perfect first spending card for tech-savvy kids.

For something that was solicited as free service during a test with World Strides to make things easier for our child’s travel, has been nothing but difficult. They don’t answer emails, there’s no phone number to contact and so far I’ve been charged service fees for something that I can’t even get to work. Not a fan of companies that have electronic only communication, this is terrible customer service at best and we will not be continuing this said “free” but hasn’t been “free” service as soon as she gets back. If her card ever starts working and she gets to use any of my money we’ve put on it at all. Signed not a fan of Jassby

Once the kids added their debit cards to Apple Pay, they started using them regularly. The biggest advantage is that I can see where they are spending their money and how much they have left on balance. I like the alerts for that reason. I also like that we can transfer money between family members.

Shortly after I loaded the account I was told my account was suspended and was asked to provide some documents to verify my identity. No big deal, this happens with other banking apps I’ve heard. I submitted the documents and was told my identity was successfully verified, but my debit cards still didn’t work anywhere and I couldn’t add to Apple Pay. Asked for help adding it and provided screenshots, they responded by shutting the account down. Makes it easy in determining if this is a good app to use for my family or not (spoiler alert: it’s not).
I love the idea of this app. It could be great, but it’s just not. When it is working, I love it. But it seems like every other day or so we have to email bc our account is disabled (we can’t just fix it ourselves), or it won’t log in for one reason or another, or it we can get in “an error occurred”. If these bugs or whatever is wrong is fixed I’ll update my review. But until then, just two stars.

I want to love or at least like this app. Despite the fact that I’ve connected my bank, I continually receive error and warning signs that tell me I need to choose a funding source. The user interface is just not intuitive, so I can’t do simple things like have it pay my kids, much less tie the money to chores. Grrr. And there’s no support. Meanwhile, I get “Greg from Jassby” emails about dinner recipes in my inbox. What?

Does what it’s supposed to do very well. After getting through the secure registration process it’s easy to load money and send to kids. Using ApplePay they can spend anywhere. It’s easy and it works!

This app is the worst. Don’t waste your time. After being denied creating an account I had to send a copy of my social security card, a copy of a utility bill and my ID. So now someone can steal my identity so that’s great. No reply to any of it. I sent several emails which went ignored and then after I got annoyed they told me they could not create an account. All the middle fingers for you jassby!
