Soooooooooooooooooooooooo ,

I like this app because I like how you can scroll back and look at the numbers you've entered. It is simple and easy to use. Using decimal fraction, and the mixed number button is a real time saver. It also looks cool when you are doing your work. This calculator definitely beats the standard one that Apple provides. I honestly think this is a cool and better calculator then the ones I have used before.

Yay. 2.0!

Hi John, great to finally see this update. One question and suggestion. The original formate in a dark back ground with bright colors as the text, could you please offer that as well? Also, I am unable to get my simple additions to layout in a running tape format like they did in your original version. Could you either tell me what I need to do to get that running tape format or along with the original color scheme of Version 1.0 I asked for could you please offer that as well. Again, so happy to see Version 2.0!! Thank you!!!

Hi TunaTunes, Thank you for taking the time to write a review and give suggestions, it's greatly appreciated! If you tap on the j (in a circle on the top right of the screen), the 2nd and 4th theme choices have dark backgrounds with bright colors. As for the running total, after you press "=" during a calculation, you can press "+", "–", "x" etc. and it will carry your current answer over to your next calculation. Thank you again for your review and suggestions, you may also email me at jcalc.calculator@gmail.com. All the best and happy calculating :)

Simple is good

I actually like the fact that there are only the basic keys because it means bigger buttons. I like the running tape feature too. I only wish it had the option of locking into each of the layouts. I need to use my phone calc strapped to my wrist at work but the only way to lock the screen is in portrait mode. Locking landscape mode would give this calc a feature that would set it well above the others. It's still great for what I do with it but it would be a dream come true with its large keys and a locking landscape mode.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, it is greatly appreciated! jCalc 2.0 was a huge update and took longer than anticipated, and I made sure to include the ability to lock it in landscape mode :) I hope you enjoy the update!
