A game I can play as a broke student 🫠

Super cute game, it already has more personality all of the mobile match games I’ve previously played combined. 😻🐼

Edit: having played it more, now I SUPER love this game because the in-game currency actually works!! You can play the game just fine and in a very reasonable timeframe without spending real money - ie you don’t have to wait overnight for 5 more lives that you lose to one hard level anyway. It would definitely make things faster and easier to use real money but you don’t have to, the in-game money and gems refill at an impressive rate which lets you play for good stretches at a time.

My only critique is that I wish there was an option to redo specific boards or whole levels after you’ve beat them because sometimes I end up missing treasure chests during the match-cascade. 😿 It’s not a huge problem because there are so many chests available during the gameplay, but I’m someone who always wants to get a perfect score on every level lol

Highest quality, most fun puzzle game ever!

Jellyvale is not only straightforward fun anyone can enjoy but also full of fun story elements and quests. The music is uplifting and chill unlike most other puzzle games. I feel like I’m sitting in a massage chair inside a famous symphonic venue being serenaded by a live orchestra with dashes of the vocalizations of angels.

The characters within the game are all unique and have fun, cute names. You can tell the creator and team behind this game really gave it their all making this game, you can tell it was made with love.

Can’t wait to play more and see how the story unfolds!

Cute game that could use a few tweaks

This game is super cute and has some good ideas. I mostly play the jelly clearing as a mindless distraction; I'd love to be more engaged in the game but it feels kind of impossible. I love decorating games but I don't actually find myself able to do the town decorating in this game because it is sooooo expensive to clear the trash and rubble. It could take a whole week to earn enough to clear just one log, and there are dozens all over the place. I don't mind that the apples run out quickly because it kind of encourages a slower more relaxed gameplay, but I wish the weighting with the coins and gems was more sensible. One thing that is super annoying is the mirror powerup breaks the game if you use it (doesn't let you match jellies after) but it's all that gets handed out from the daily tasks. So you end up stockpiled with the most useless powerup; they should hand out a rotation of powerups and also fix the mirror bug.
