Love the App. Need An Apple Watch Version!

I love the Iphone app.
It was worth every penny. I don’t mind paying even more.
However, I have some suggestions.

Wish there was an option when you select ‘artist’, merge all the ‘unknown albums’ together. It’s quite annoying to see some of the unclassified songs taking up so much screen space, because it organizes those songs as all different albums.

Second, can you PLEASE have the ‘year’ information somewhere on the screen? I know most of my songs have the year information embedded in the file already, but I cannot find them in JetAudio AT ALL.

Plus, I’m really waiting for Apple Watch version. Current problem of Apple Music app on Apple Watch is that you can only go to the ‘playlist’ level. You cannot select ‘playlist’ and find an individual songs. If you make this possible, I’ll be willing to spend more money purchasing that option.

Last, improve your app icon. It looks pretty bad.

Why people would use this app from the beginning? Because these app developers (JetAudio) make this categorization of music much better than Apple Music does.

Close to being good, but UI is deranged

The problem with the app is that it’s not really designed in a sane manner. Options are scattered through the whole interface, and while you are given a lot of options you are missing some critical ones, like changing how music is labelled in playlists and in folders. In those parts of the interface, the metadata (album, artist, etc.) are listed first in bold and then the song name is listed in much smaller greyed out text underneath. Why wouldn’t I want to see the song names up top bolded, why wouldn’t that be more important to me? There’s also no way to hide options like Podcast, Artist, Network on the main menu, so navigating the interface can get cluttered and overwhelming if you’re someone that doesn’t use those options. I only use my music from what’s stored on my device in the Files app, so I don’t use a lot of the things on that menu, therefore why do I need to see them? Searching will only search within the current folder, not your whole music repository. You can get around this by adding all your songs to one big playlist and searching from there. “Clear Playlist” button is located dangerously close to other options in a menu and offers no confirmation prompt when selected. Hope you like spending hours crafting a playlist just to nuke it in a fraction of a second. Also I have found no way to import/export playlists, so you’re locked down to this app.

Try Flacbox instead.

So far, the best music player

There was a music player app on iOS that I really liked that had good equalizer control and extra options but it was taken down from the App Store. This one was the most similar to that app I liked.

I like the EQ controls, the ability to slow down or speed up the playback, and a bunch of other useful options. I like how you could easily move an MP3 file to the folder of the app using the My Files app, and then the app will play the MP3 file without needing to it iTunes and creating a playlist. This music player really does a lot and the features are useful to me. It is useful as an audiobook or podcast player as well as MP3 music.

My only suggestion is to add "pitch correction" for when the playback speed is slowed down. The issue I have is when I slow down the playback speed, I could hear stuttering and gaps. I have used other music player apps and they have a feature to fix this issue by using software to stretch the sound file to avoid gaps and stutters when the playback is slowed down. I listen to MP3 audiobooks and I slow down the speech since the narrator sometimes reads too fast. I hope the developer reads this and considers adding this feature!
