Description
Version 1.0:
The JF Connect app helps make the MICRO your own! Take control of the features on your Snack Box Micro.
Works with the second generation of the Snack Box MICRO PCB (the white “M2” series PCB). This app gives you control over important features
• Toggle between SOCD modes
• Adjust LED brightness
• Pick a primary/secondary LED colors
• Choose your favorite LED animation
• Update the Micro’s JFA firmware
Additional info:
The MICRO must be in edit mode to allow the app to change settings. This ensures that no one can change settings remotely without physical access to the device. To enter hold the edit mode button down while plugging in the USBC cable. Afterwards you can start the JF Connect app.
A video explaining the features of the app can be found on the JunkFood Arcades YouTube channel.
More features are planned for future updates! Stay tuned!

Ratings and Reviews
Very janky + Important settings not saved
The app is very janky and sometimes borderline unusable. Quite often it would get stuck on “scanning” which requires an app relaunch. After connecting for to a snack box the app will take between 1-30 seconds “Fetching Data”. Sometimes that process is fast and other times it takes longer. The app allows you to change the SSID name. But that only changes the name shown in the app(after fetching data) and not the Bluetooth device name? Changing between a lot of animations will break the app and selecting a new animation won’t reflect on the device. The most important setting, SOCD is the _only_ setting that doesn’t save and forgotten on device reboot, that’s a baffling decision. It’s the one setting that actually influences your ability to actually play games. It wouldn’t be so bad if you didn’t have to go through the whole: scanning, and then fetching data process. Additionally, the app always says that I have an update available, even after updating?
iPhone SE Gen 3 and iPad mini 4 issue
Unable to scroll through all options on lighting, likely due to the aspect ratio 16:9 vs the more ultrawide resolution of other iPhones. Otherwise it does work but I cannot select all of the lighting options as it doesnt let me scroll and select the bottom options on the list
it functions
The app is extremely buggy and prone to crashing, but when it works the features you can customize on the Snackbox are pretty neat
