Description
Jiffy lets you quickly search and discover GIFs from GIPHY. When you have found an awesome GIF, just drag and drop it into an app.
Jiffy can either be used as menu bar app or a normal app in the Dock.
You can set a global keyboard shortcut to quickly show/hide Jiffy when used from the menu bar.
You can also favorite GIFs and browse your favorites. However, your favorites are not synchronized with giphy.com as GIPHY doesn't provide a way for third-party apps to get/set favorites.
Right-click a GIF to save it or share it to a system share service.
Jiffy includes a system service that lets you highlight a word in any app, right-click, and select “Search GIFs with Jiffy” to directly search for GIFs matching that word.
This app is free without ads because I enjoy making apps. Consider leaving a nice review.

Sindre-quality app, as usual
Cleanest UI of any comparable apps, developer responds to support emails quickly, does what it says it'll do. User Experience is Sindre's forte, second only to the bug-free experience, and Jiffy is yet another example of this. I might be a bit of a fanboy, but it seems warranted ᖍ(ツ)ᖌ
High-Quality, Clean app
Elegantly designed Gif app for Mac. I'm pleased with how easy the app is to use and is perfect for my uses.
The app is perfect, but I find Giphy's database of gifs to me much more limited than Tenor. That said that's a reflection of the API and platform versus the quality of this app that plugs into it.
Great App - Works Beautifully
Great App for quickly searching for, finding and using GIFs in other apps.
You can enable it to run at login and then assign a hotkey to open it from the menu bar.
