Jojo was developed as a tool for journalists working in the Norwegian newspaper VG and is by default using the largest version of Whisper.
This gives the most accurate results for the Norwegian (and other languages not represented with huge amounts of training data).
It also means transcriptions may take a while and use a lot of processing power on your machine.

Ratings and Reviews
Impressive
I tried this on a variety of speech recorded in a pro studio and random speech in public. The studio speech was transcribed perfectly, while the public speech was slightly inaccurate - despite multiple people talking and screaming over each other.
This is an impressive app.
FWIW, The Whisper V2 English model was more accurate overall. It's nice you can adjust the transcription if you need to also. This must have been designed by Slartibartfast. Well done.

This app is great! Here are a few suggestions: First, it would be better if it didn't come with pre-installed models, so users can download the models they need, which would reduce disk usage. Second, if the first suggestion cannot be implemented, I hope that the latest Large V3 model can be pre-installed. Third, by default, I selected other models in the settings, but in actual use, the default model selected for transcription is always Large V2.
Free and works well
Tried five other transcription apps, 4 of which crashed immediately and the other required a subscription to try. Jojo just.... worked.
