Just worthless and unusable: You need to set up an account to use it (why?!) and you can’t actually dismiss the keyboard to click the Register button; and you’ve got to complete this near impossible task in one minute.
Next, instead of auto-detecting nearby devices, it asks you to enter the device model.
The most amazingly horrible part is it then literally asks for your network password. This is 2020 and there are a handful of APIs for communicating with a device, but no we want to have access to your home network.
Works Fine
Nothing special but everything works. When registering, just clicked outside of the keyboard and text boxes and my keyboard closed. Most 1 Star reviews seem to miss that and I’ve had to deal with similar from other apps.
Functionality is basic, but I don’t need it to do much so I don’t care if it looks a little bare. You can see the floor plan it creates and it actually has timers for when parts ought to be replaced. Schedules are simple enough to setup as well. All the remote controls in the app work and actually connect.
Make sure you’re connecting the wifi to a 2.4ghz wifi, I already knew about it but the app even reminds you. Most devices that aren’t top-end are still like that.
DON’T DO IT!
Do not waste your time downloading this crap and trying to connect it. I never write reviews but this app is so bad I had to try and stop other people from wasting their time. This is literally the worst app I have ever downloaded.
I know this is a free app but I have wasted so much time trying to make this app work that this company should actually be paying me!
Last warning…. Do not waste your time with this app!
