The true essence of adventure is captured in this second game inspired by renowned author Jules Verne. In this first-person survival adventure, players will encounter recognisable locations from the famous novel, including the granite house, the volcano and the Nautilus. However, Return to Mysterious Island goes beyond Jules Verne's storytelling as players take on the role of Mina, a courageous young woman on a solo round-the-world sailing expedition.

In your quest for survival using logic, discovery, creative inventory management, and elements of the supernatural, the adventure unfolds across splendid photorealistic pre-rendered vistas. Intuitive puzzle challenges and vast exploration of the lush tropical landscapes of the island, all combine for a brilliantly executed adventure game.

Round-the-world saling expedition... Ship wrecked on a deserted island.. The ghost of Captain Nemo... The quest for survival... Caught in a tremendous storm, Mina, our heroine, becomes stranded on the shores of a wild and apparently uninhabited island. As she explores her new surrounding, she uncovers artifacts, living spaces and technologies left behind by the people who came before her to this uncharted island.

great, but got disappointed

I loved this game! the graphics are amazing and it really makes you think. its very addicting. However, Once the game finally started getting exciting, the lite version was over. SO, my joy was short lived. The full version is $10 and i don't think that it should be that expensive.

For a demo? AMAZING

Wow. The graphics and the interactions and the puzzle and combination of items for this demo are really incredible. You only get to do a little bit — and I definitely don’t think I want to pay $11 for the full game…but the graphics, interaction, and puzzles so far maaaay just be worth it! I’m very very impressed. I’m gonna go play the other Jules Verne LITE game.
I really like that there are points you earn, and you get more points for the “harder” you solve a puzzle and for more things you do (try to drink all those coconuts!) I actually had to look up a walkthrough for one part of this demo. The combination of items was a little bit tricky…but i finally started to get the hang of it.

Like it, but need "hints"

I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong until I found a walkthru online. Would like to see hints available... maybe tell me I can't do anything with the soot or whatever unless I find a different tool. But I do like it.
