Novidades
Versão 3.2.5
this *should* fix a long-standing issue with syncing between the watch and phone. if you still find you are having issues with sync, please reach out to me at support@justtimers.app to see if we can’t narrow things down more.
other fixes in this version:
- the "silence (vibrate only)" alert setting should work again (note: critical alerts seem to override this and always play the system sound)
- the "stop playback" alert setting should work again (but keep in mind it only works if the app is in front. the screen can be locked, but the app must be front)
---
previous version notes:
What's new:
- Run Actions
- Now open URLs and Run Shortcuts for any timer action! Rather than just timer expiration, you can now open URLs and Run Shortcuts for actions like starting/stopping a timer, pausing, lapping a stopwatch, and next/previous interval.
NOTE: Run Actions can only run automatically when the app is open. If running from the background using Shortcuts or similar, the app may need opened first.
- New Alert Sounds
- Ding
- Gong 1
- Gong 2
- Filtering
- Added an "Any/All" toggle to change the behavior of filter matching criteria. These also apply to Shortcuts, Widgets and x-callback-url filtering (use match=any or all)
- Stopwatch
- When using Stopwatch in focus view there is now a toggle above the time to switch between showing the current lap time and total time
Fixed:
- Intervals unexpectedly getting skipped
- Bug where timer is full screen and bottom buttons don't change with play/pause state.
- A bunch of bugs in the timer editor page should be fixed
- Fixed a bug where "Repeat Alerts" being disabled would still cause alerts to repeat
- Fixes to Run Actions not firing even with the app open
- When creating a new timer in the Watch app, there is a new row of icons across the top to make it more clear there are multiple pages and which page is active
- Fixed an issue with interval timers where the sound wouldn't play when the app is open
- Fixed a UI issue with the intervals button
- Fixed Shortcuts actions not working on Stopwatch
Avaliações e opiniões
Update: App is a little glitchy but functional
Update: I imported V2 timers as mentioned on the app description page, which did restore my old timers.
The app behavior isn’t always consistent (for example, I just deleted a couple of timers, which then almost immediately un-deleted themselves upon app re-launch). I have had difficulty resetting timers in the past (like via my Apple Watch).
This app doesn’t collect personal info like other multitimer apps in the market, so it’s worth dealing with.

Hey thanks for the update, could you please reach out to support@justtimers.app so I can help you with the other issues? I haven’t had any other reports on that, so I can’t fix it without more details
Update

First: I apologize for piling on with the negativity. I was out of line.
So, after beta testing and trying both of your official releases of 2.x and 3.x, I found that it wasn’t remotely similar to the original release, which I had just paid for at the time, years ago. After the 2.0 release came out, I was bothered that it wasn’t anything like what I had just paid for. Never mind the bugs. I have realized that this just isn’t the right app for me anymore, and I took my issue out on you, the developer, who is clearly trying their best.
With your latest release, I did not give it a fair chance and rated it unfairly.
I do believe this is the right app for A LOT of people. That said, I have a suggestion that I think will be helpful for everyone, both old and new users alike. Premade templates of all of the different types of timers the app offers. The screenshot of the multicolored timers in the App Store, looked very appealing. However, between the learning curve and the time it takes to create these from scratch, the task can seem overwhelming. At the very least, clear explanations of how each setting should behave, tips to generate the different timers, and contradictions we may run into would be HUGE.
Especially with the symbol-only settings. It’s possible that what many perceive as bugs are from an incorrect expectation of how each setting is to act.

Hey thanks for the feedback! I do have more templates coming, they just didn't make it into 3.0 unfortunately. Same for the onboarding process, I'd like to go more into more detail but could use some help finding those rough spots that need explaining.
If you can contact me @JustTimers on Twitter or support@justtimers.app to cover these in more detail I'd appreciate it.
Too many problems
The app has the potential to solve multiple problems including the lack of iCloud syncing in the native timer app. The problem is that the app in its current state is underdeveloped. There are too many problems. For one thing the timer doesn’t sound if your device is on silent mode. This alone is a deal breaker for me. The settings are not straight forward and there’s a bit of a learning curve. There’s no way to set a default sound I’m finding myself changing the alarm sound each time I set a new timer. The iCloud sync feature did not reliably work for me in the couple of trials I had. I paid for tier 2 in the spirit of supporting the developer as they seem to be active and working on the app. I’m sure it will one day get there!
