Description

Joining Zoom meetings can be very painful. You're notified several minutes too early, you need to open your calendar, find the event, click on the link, go through a web browser redirection... And when you think you're in, here comes the password prompt forcing you to go back to your calendar event and copy-paste the password to finally join the meeting.

Imagine you can replace all these steps with a single click... This is not a dream, this is JustJoin!

JustJoin is a discreet app that connects to the Calendar app and monitors your Zoom meetings in real time. It is capable of finding the meeting number and password inside calendar events and display a notification at the right time.
You can even choose to be notified a few seconds or minutes before the actual start of the meeting, you will never be waited for again.

JustJoin is compatible with virtually any calendar providing service as long as you can configure your account in macOS Calendar app: Google Calendar, Microsoft Exchange, Apple iCloud, Yahoo!, AOL, ...

Don't worry about your privacy, your calendar data is processed by JustJoin app locally on your computer, there is no data sent to a server.

What’s New

Version 1.5.0

This version of JustJoin contains a bunch of enhancements.

• Notifications
The reliability of the notifications has been improved, an issue causing a notification for the same meeting to be displayed multiple times has been fixed.

• Meeting details detection
The extraction of meeting links and passwords from the calendar events is more robust and now supports passwords containing certain special characters.

• Zoom client opening
A little delay is now applied before joining a meeting to allow the Zoom application to log the user in first.

Suggestion

I absolutely love JustJoin, because it reduced the clutter of pop up windows when opening zoom meetings, however, the one thing I would like to see is an added feature of allowing you to click on a meeting from the main today page and have it immediately open the zoom call. You can only do this if the meeting is about to srart so far. When you click on the event from the today page, it opens the link in your calendar, then your browser, then zoom. For sake of misclicking, maybe there could also be an addition where you have to click on the event and then confirm that you want to join.

Thanks so much for this app :)

Been great for me.

I love that I don't have to open up my calendar to get the link to my Zoom meetings, and I love that it pops up reminding me when the meeting is about to start. The only semi-issue I've run into is it not recognizing meetings that were created a short time before starting. For example I got a meeting invite about 20 minutes before the meeting was to start and JustJoin did not recognize it. One suggestion is to create a preference for how soon before a meeting you want to be notified instead of the default (which I think is about 3 minutes).

Great and useful app, but unfortunately doesn't find all your Zoom meetings

The app is extremely useful and saves time and energy tracking down your zoom calls and eliminates the interstitial web page dance. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to find zoom meetings scheduled to your personal zoom meeting room ID URL and often other meetings as well which not only reduces it's usefulness yet also makes it unrelaibe for knowing what meetings you have coming up.
