Juxtapose is a desktop comparison tool that lets you bring files, documents, images, audio, video and structured data together, compare candidates side by side, make simple A/B choices, and turn those choices into a clear ranking while keeping the original evidence and provenance close at hand. 7-day free trial. Bring the evidence: * Point it at a folder, a file, or one document describing the options. * Reads images, audio, video, PDF, DOCX, RTF, HTML, CSV and JSON. * Mixed media, subfolders and related files stay with their candidate. * OCR runs locally. Extracted values link back to the passage or page region they came from. * Supply a candidate list when one document describes many options. No schema first. Compare audio and video fairly * Compare audio or video candidates directly without switching between separate players. * Synchronized transport keeps candidates aligned so you can move through the same point in each recording. * Loudness matching reduces level differences that can bias an audio comparison. * Blind mode applies here too, with levels matched so neither candidate has a volume advantage. * Keep media evidence attached to the same candidate alongside documents, images and structured facts. Make the decision: * Equal A/B frames, without cropping or a size advantage. * Source dimensions and colour stay intact where the format supports it. * Adaptive pairwise questions ask only what narrows the order. * Choose the goal: pick a winner, shortlist N, rank everything, or explore. Each mode is optimized to reach that goal with as few comparisons as possible. * Blind mode hides names and sources. Skip or mark two options equal. * Contradictions stay visible, and a changed answer supersedes the old one without erasing it. * History and export keep the decision trail with the evidence available to it. Judge together: * Host or join a comparison over your local network. * Each decision can be hosted independently, so different judges can work on different comparisons at the same time. * Judges see only the comparisons assigned to them, not the full decision state. * Local MCP agents can participate as attributed judges, so human and model decisions remain distinguishable in the history. * The comparison graph brings those judgments back together without losing who decided what. Fewer questions, and the same answer every time: * Juxtapose uses a deterministic comparison engine designed to reach your chosen goal with as few questions as possible. * The engine is tested against its theoretical comparison bound. * Ordering 50 candidates: 230 comparisons instead of 1,225 exhaustive pairwise comparisons. * Pick a winner, shortlist N, rank everything or explore, and the engine changes what it asks based on the goal.
