An advanced AI focuses first on bringing in new players to the game; pick up the game and just start playing. Training progresses quickly, and even the most experienced players might learn a thing or two. Each strategic decision is explained! See inside the thought process of a mature Sheepshead AI originally published in 1992 and updated in 2019.

To measure your progress, you will be training a puppy which will advance through its lessons as you learn Sheepshead. Puppy raising tips come from 16 years of service-dog training experience.

This is a free, fun family table card game along the lines of other trick-taking games like Spades, Hearts, Euchre, etc.

Great for learning

I had no background in this game but this app really helped get the basics going and get me off my feet. Very helpful advice and set up for beginners!

Love it!, but……

I’ve been playing this for quite a while, and have recently noticed a few things:
Hands are repetitive.
Often, all 4 queens are held by the picker and partner.
Many deals in a row there are two trump in a bad hand. Maybe that’s realistic - I don’t know.

Is there a way to balance and vary the shuffling and deal? If so, let me know!
