The only thing keeping this app from being great and 5 stars is if they would be completely upfront and honest on how they payout structure works. You email them and they tell you that you get paid based on creativity and the amount of views or engagement your post gets. That’s not what people are looking for. They have to be upfront and let everyone know, for example; Okay 10,000 views = $20 or etc.. they don’t tell you any of that. Pearpop and other apps at least tell you if you reach a certain milestone of views what the payout would be, this app does not. I have emailed support about their payout system and trying to figure out what really is the deciding factor because I have posted a few videos and one of them gets 80k views and i got $50 from it but my first video i did got 20k views and I got $250… So until they can actually be upfront and honest on how much you can actually make instead of saying “Creativity and engagement” then it’ll stay a 3 star app. Hopefully the company sees this review too and leaves a public reply so people can get an answer..

I’ve had Kale for a week now and I love it! Such good brand options already. However, I’m still slightly skeptical about the company itself. I posted my first video which got 721 views and was paid around $24. I then post a video that got 15K views and was excited as they say payment is based on amount of views. However, my payment was only around $45.

As the Kale team advertises, this is still a great way to make some money while supporting the brands you love. However, I think they need to be more transparent about the view/payment situation. I tried to find information on how the payment is decided, and saw nothing on their website or socials. It’s possible that it’s a pool of money and then it gets divided more with who’s posting. Whatever it is - I think Kale needs to be more transparent!

Again, I’m slightly skeptical but mostly excited!
