This is no Uber

American here in Canada trying to find an app like Uber that works in Vancouver and this is definitely not it. The app doesn’t even use your GPS to locate you. You have to type in your departure address which means you have to figure out what the nearest address to you is. That can be hard when you’re outside the city. Even then it doesn’t accept normal addresses. You have to just type the name of the city and that’s all it will allow you to enter. Then you choose the date that you want to depart. (F-ing right now duh) Then it just pops up no results for cars. I read this app was founded in 2006. Not sure what they’ve been up to the last decade besides sucking.

Kangaride is a long-distance/inter-city ridesharing app. It's an arrangement in which one or multiple passengers travel in a private vehicle driven by its owner, in exchange for a fee that doesn't exceed the cost of the trip. The meeting place is decided by the driver when he/she publishes their ride through our service. In the future if you ever need this kind of service to travel somewhere, we will be glad to help. How can you search rides? It doesn’t let me sign in or put my birthdate in. I am trying to find a ride ASAP but it will not allow me to find a ride even on the website. Is there anyone still using this app anymore?

I have used their website a couple of times and they have been giving amazing services and following up on a given problem in case it occurred.
