Free and truly free offline password manager. Keepery is as simple as secure being security and privacy it's top feature. More sophisticated features soon.

5 reasons to choose Keepery over other password managers:

- Keepery does not require a monthly fee/subscription to backup your data. Most password managers do.
- All the data is encrypted using AES-256 with a randomly generated master key. This is state of the art standard on password managers.
- Your data never leaves your device.* There is no server side and no third party to trust.
- Keepery is as simple as robust, just generate and save secure passwords, accounts info and notes, and store an encrypted backup of all your data wherever you want, with one single touch.
- Coming soon Keepery open source code available on GitHub.

* * Your data never leaves your device until you decide to make a backup. When you make a backup, a strongly encrypted file will be exported to the service of your choice (dropbox, drive, email, local storage…). As long as you keep your master key safe the encryption protecting your backup will ensure that your data remains private, even in the hands of a malicious attacker. A highly efficient brute force attack against your backup file will take millions of years (actually much more than the age of the universe) to break your privacy.

Crashes every time I start it

I downloaded Keepery this morning, but it crashed every time I try to use it. Won’t do me much good if I can’t run it. ☹️

Update: thanks for your quick response. I downloaded the new Version and it behaves as before: after the initial screen showing the key, it immediately dies and subsequent open attempts just die.
I’m running iOS 13.3.1 on an iPhone 7.

Thanks again for quick response— that should be reassuring to anyone looking at this product. App Store current version is 2.1–how will I recognize the new one?

Update Sunday night: I’ve been checking off and on since Friday for the new version, and saw it tonight. I downloaded and installed it, and it runs without crashing! Hurray! Am I correct that there’s not a way to import keys? If there is I don’t see it. Thanks for your responsiveness!

I have revised my rating upwards; pros for me are that it’s locally held, so I feel better about keeping it private; since I’m migrating from MiniKeePass I already have a bunch of entries and re-entering everything manually will be a pain.

Developer Response ,

Dear user, another issue was detected on the generation of the backup file that prevents the feature to work as expected, another update is on the go.

Keepery New User

I really, really like it! Excellent interface, AES 256 encryption, slick interface... pretty sweet. Now, my pet peeves:

1. The URL, please make this a hyperlink
2. The Account page, give us the options to sort the account entries.
3. The Account icon, let us edit this icon of add a photo, when one isn't automatically provided.

Great work guys!
