App is clunky and needs a redesign!
Before I state my issues I would first like to say that I love the concept of the app. A way to save for your children’s future while being charitable at the same time. However the application itself needs to be reworked or redesigned. Most things don’t work properly like the passcode sign in or the photo memories, which seem to just post tons of duplicates. Your money seems to get placed in a weird state of limbo where it shows it’s not longer pending but isn’t in your account either which is kind of weird and concerning. The process of Withdrawing funds isn’t really made clear you’re just prompted to a screen with a number to call. The application seems glitchy most days and you have to click numerous times to enter certain menus. Idk I love the concept of the app and would love to be really long term with this but please for the love of god redesign this app in the near future or at least create a web version that doesn’t have all these issues please.

First, thanks for supporting our mission! We're excited to keep improving & making the app everything you're looking for.
We definitely want to keep making processes clearer in the app. We'll make withdrawing money easier to understand (while still reminding you that leaving money in your kid's fund is the best way to grow a big fund!). And we're really excited for same-day transfers! But until they're made available to us, we'll make it clearer exactly what's happening to your money as it moves through the banking system.
Finally, we of course want a bug-free app. Any time you see anything that doesn't feel right, you can report it by simply shaking your phone. Those reports help our engineering team improve the app faster. (We coincidentally just fixed that image posting bug in the last app update, so updating your app should fix that already!)

I like the app, just not the communication methods
I really like the app so far (adding money, adding moments to my children’s accounts, keeping track of monies and interest, etc. The only problem which is a BIG problem is that there is no way to effectively communicate with developers or customer service.
I have reached out several times through the app for questions. I went in the app, logged in, went under ‘More’ and then under contact us. I have also emailed support@kidfund email address over a week and half ago to to still no avail. I got one response back from someone stating they resolved my issue and told me to log out and back in. That did not resolve my issue so I had to email yet again and still have no response. It’s like pulling teeth to get someone to help you. There’s no telephone number, no live chat or anything. I am just shooting endless emails into a dark abyss. I’m sure whoever is responding to these reviews will tell me, “I’m sorry you’re having difficultly, please email support@kidfund for us to further assist you.” That’s what they always do.
I’m to my wits end. If I don’t get a response back from the emails I’ve already sent, I will be withdrawing my funds (which I’m sure will be penalized) and just taking my loss and going to another platform. My complaint is that I need to be able to communicate effectively with someone on issues I’m having, if I’m to trust and support a platform. Especially one that has my personal information and money.

I understand the need for stability & communication with a financial app like Kidfund, but I do hope you'll give us another chance.
About your funds, they are always held by you at our banking partner USAlliance, so if you decide to withdraw them, it's as simple as contacting USAlliance. No one should ever be penalized while saving for their kids, and you won't be by us for leaving Kidfund.
